Events

WLCN is a 501(c)(3) preschool that depends heavily on parent participation and donations to thrive. It is expected that every family participates in all fundraising events held throughout the school year. Every family is expected to raise a minimum of $100. 

Our Current Fundraiser​

Here's how you can get involved in the Spring Fair:

 

1. Share Your Skills

  • If you're great at face painting, balloon artistry, baking, or have a unique talent that could help make our fair a fun experience...we'd love to hear from you! 

2. Donate Items/Services

  • We're looking for gift baskets, handcrafted items, gift certificates, or any other prizes that will help us create an exciting silent auction

  • If you have a connection with a local business that might donate items or services for our event or for our silent auction, please let us know - everything helps raise money for our school!

3. Volunteer

  • Help with set up, take down, or activities during the fair

  • Support the silent auction by organizing items or helping people place bids

  • Bake for the bake sale (stay tuned for a sign-up sheet when the fair gets closer!)

4. Spread the Word

  • Save the date (Saturday, April 25th from 11 AM - 1 PM) and invite your family, friends and neighbors

  • Share the Event with family and friends!

Harris Teeter Together In Education

VIC (Very Important Customer) loyalty cards can be linked to WLCN! If you already shop at Harris Teeter and have a VIC card simply go to https://www.harristeeter.com/together-in-education, and click “link your school today.”  This program runs during the academic year (August 1 – May 31), so please re-register every August in order to continue participating! The school code for Wilde Lake Children’s Nursery is 6970.

Scholastic Books

When you order books from Scholastic, you help earn free books for our classroom! Simply use our School Code Z9Z7C to connect your order to the school. As a bonus, for all orders over $25, use the code READS to get a free book (up to $5.00)! To see the books and place an order, use the link:  https://clubs.scholastic.com/ and select “Parents”.
