Our Classes

Through a wide variety of "learning through play" activities, we expose children to language arts, music, mathematics, social development, and science.

The Two-Year-Old class provides young children with a gentle introduction to the school environment, helping them become comfortable, confident, and secure. Parental involvement is an essential part of this program to support a positive transition into the school experience. This class emphasizes:

  • Development of personal and social skills through guided play

  • Creativity fostered and encouraged through activities

  • Individual attention within a small-class setting

  • A warm and nurturing environment that supports learning to separate from parents

 

Age: Must be 2 by September 1st

Days: Tuesday & Thursday

Time: 9:15 am - 11:15 am

Class Size: 10 Children

Adults in Classroom: Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Co-op Parent​

Two-Year-Old Class

The Three-Year-Old class builds upon the experiences of our Twos program and offers a balance of child-led and teacher-guided, developmentally appropriate activities that promote:

  • Creative exploration and self-expression

  • Physical development like growing coordination and control

  • Social-emotional skills to support independence & empathy

  • Play and relationship skills through cooperative and imaginative play

  • Knowledge and understanding of the world through hands-on discovery

Age: Must be at least 3 by October 15th (at teacher discretion)

Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Time: 9:15 am - 11:45 am

Class Size: 16 Children

Adults in Classroom: Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Co-op Parent

 

 

Three-Year-Old Class

The Four-Year-Old class represents the culmination of our early childhood program. Children are immersed in developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences designed to support “Kindergarten Readiness” by promoting:

  • Child-directed exploring to build individual interests & curiosity

  • Teacher-guided activities that promote STEM, language, and literacy development

  • Physical development like gross and fine motor skill-building

  • Social-emotional learning and relationship-building to support confidence and collaboration

 

Age: Must be 4 by October 15th

Days: Monday - Friday

Time: 12:30 - 3:00 pm

Class Size: 16 Children

Adults in Classroom: Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Co-op Parent

Four-Year-Old Class

We know every family's schedule looks different, so we're excited to introduce a new flexible option!

Families can now lighten their monthly volunteer load by choosing to contribute a small monthly fee instead.

This way, you'll still enjoy the benefits of being part of our warm and welcoming co-op community while having more flexibility to fit your family's schedule.
