We are one of those families that run 5k themed races on the holidays (turkey trot, jingle bell, nye ball drop, cupid fun run, bay bridge 10k, etc) We run in different states, with extended family members and friends, sometimes in costumes and for time (but mostly for fun!) It is a special time to visit, share stories, and complete a challenge together. Running teaches us patience, endurance, and love.

This Turkey Trot will be Eli’s first event (instead of being bundled up in a stroller). He is very excited to get his number to wear on his jacket and complete the two town course with his brother, cousins, Aunt, Pop Pop, Dad and Mom in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Eli will get to start in Lamberville, New Jersey and run across a bridge to New Hope, Pennsylvania before running back across the bridge over the Delaware River. Then he will go to his great grandmother’s house for dinner and a big slice of pie!

From our family to yours, we wish you a Thanksgiving filled with laughter and love (And if you also run a Turkey Trot, Eli will be rooting for you too!)
